What is the literal meaning of guru?

The literal meaning in one line is – Guru is God itself. Guru is Lord Shiva. Guru is omniscient, Guru is omnipresent and Guru is omnipotent.

Guru definition

There is no difference in Guru and God. Guru and God both are same for the disciple. Also Guru and your soul is also same. Guru, God and your soul all are same and one only.

For a disciple Guru is omnipresent, because guru is the soul of the disciple so Guru appears everywhere in everything.

Guru is omniscient for a disciple because Guru can do anything for a disciple. As guru is the soul for a disciple same disciple is the soul for a Guru.

Guru is omnipotent for a disciple. Guru is self sufficient and can do the as God can do for a disciple.

Therefore, the meaning of Guru or SAD GURU  is very deep spiritually. Also everyone cannot understand the literal meaning of Guru Sad guru. Only a person who is selected by the almighty god for the spiritual journey can understand the literal meaning of Guru.

How to search for a Guru

Guru awakens you, shows you the truth and  God. However, this is very difficult to search for a real Guru.

But if you have a deep real thirst for the truth or the God, you can be blessed to obtain a real divine Guru. Real guru, god and your true self all are one only.

Your attachment to the material world is the main obstacle in getting a true divine Guru.

When you have real desire for your Guru, almighty God itself sends a divine guru for you to show you the path of enlightenment.

Also, you cannot search your Guru, but guru searches you. But you can do prayer from the God to find your Sad Guru, your prayers are always listen by the God and also responded by the God. If you have real thirst for your Guru, God either send your guru to you, or shows you a path to become close to your Guru.

Who can attain a Divine Guru

Almighty God tests you time to time and knows you more than you so when you are ready to walk on the spiritual path only then almighty God sends his light to you in the form of a divine guru.

Therefore, in search of God or Guru, you don’t need to go anywhere only the need to go inside you in your innermost temple where God is seated.

Guru and Self Realization

  • Guru or Sad guru needs your wholehearted surrender before him to make you an enlightened soul.
  • If from any corner of your heart you have a spark of a tiny doubt for your divine guru then you are disqualified to be an enlightened soul.
  • Guru needs your wholehearted surrender from the mind, heart, and body in order to show you to your soul and give you self-realization.
  • After your wholehearted surrender, Guru itself becomes your soul and holds your hands to accompany you on the path of enlightenment.
  • If you are not ready to surrender before the Guru then no Guru can give you self-realization.
  • You must be an empty clean slate (no doubt, no question, no answer only a blank slate) to get self-realization.
  • The truth is that in this materialistic world this is very difficult to find such an enlightened guru and such a true disciple.
  • This all needs the grace of almighty God. God is the only source who can give you his light in the form of Guru. Nothing is impossible if you really deserve it.

Guru and Enlightenment

A person is sleeping in a deep sleep. The person has a body consciousness only. He thinks about his body only.

The person knows the needs and hunger of the body only. Throughout life, he works for the satisfaction of his body.

He doesn’t know about the soul. He doesn’t know about the satisfaction of his soul. He doesn’t know the thirst and food of his soul.

He is in a deep sleep or in a dream. The person dies and again born then another dream start.

The cycle is infinite no end. The whole soul life is a long serial of dreams one after another. One dream ends person dies and again take birth with a new dream.

Awakening from deep sleep is Enlightenment. To be conscious of your soul is enlightenment.

Overcome the body consciousness and become conscious about your soul is an enlightenment.

An enlightened person thinks about the soul and feeds the soul.

He knows the food what the soul needs. Don’t miss to read – How a person feels after enlightenment?

How does God look

A person sees almighty god in the exact form of his divine guru. Same voice, same way of talking, same looks, same features, same choices of dresses, etc., everything he sees in almighty god as his or her physical guru.

Guru Meaning

In fact, the divine guru is not a physical being but a true subtle image of God in this physical world. Guru, disciple, and God all become one in this spiritual arena.

The truth is that there is no concept of a soul at all only the supreme soul or God exists who appears differently in different being due to the power of illusion.

To refer an individual being we call it a soul, but in a true sense, the omnipresent almighty supreme soul is reflecting everywhere. Nature is God and God is Nature.
