What happens to the soul when it leaves the body?

What is Soul?

To know the answer to the question, one must clear about the concept of the soul and what is the exact meaning of the soul. The soul is the energy present everywhere.

In fact, soul and supreme soul or GOD are not separate energies but one only. The supreme soul which is known with different names is one that is God or supreme power present everywhere.

We born in the supreme energy live in that supreme energy and die in the supreme energy. God is omnipresent, so present in the living being too.

Presence of supreme energy in the living being is referred to as a soul, that’s it only.

Then what is that which takes birth and dies? That is your “I” only which dies again and again and takes birth again and again. Now first understand the meaning of “I”.

What is “I” or a Human being?

What is the meaning of “I”?

In this universe, everything that we can see or imagine is energy only. Things that appear solid are also the transformation of the supreme energy.

This “I” is also energy. The composition of “I” includes various things given below:

  • Human desires: past present and future desires
  • Your past and present debts related to money
  • Your past and present love relations
  • Results of bundles of Karmas done in the present and in the past lifetime
  • Your mission of present or past life
  • Feelings of jealousy, anger, and revenge against others
  • Hidden grievances against someone
  • Outcomes of past and present life curses and boons and
  • Rules and regulation about your life
  • Your customs
  • Your culture and related constraints
  • Your religion
  • The web of much more similar things that you built around you

The fluxes of all the above types of energies are the root cause of the foundation of your “I”.

The composition of such energies makes your “I” which is the main cause of your presence in this temporary world and your reincarnations again and again in the stage of the world.

You take birth to release these energies against the counter deposition of energies in another “I” of another person.

You release stored energies and collect more energy. The cycle is infinite, no end. Good karmas good and pleasant life and bad karmas bad and miserable life.

This “I” is your true component which forces you to stay in the hell, heaven and in this physical realm.

How “I” is connected to Soul or Supreme Soul?

Supreme energy is an absolute consciousness in this universe that make conscious each and everything in the universe whether that is your thoughts, your feelings, desires, or anything else.

So, this supreme consciousness is the vehicle that carries your “I. However, your “I” is entirely separate and totally temporary energy.

Soul, supreme soul or GOD is only a permanent and an absolute conscious energy which makes everything conscious.

It makes your physical body-conscious as well as your subtle body (subtle body is the body which departs from your physical body when you die) conscious.

This is the only relation between your “I” and supreme energy.

What is Heaven?

Supreme consciousness makes your “I” conscious and forces you to enjoy pleasure if the composition of your “I” is full of good thoughts, blessings, giving, kindness loves and affections.

If you have a physical body you enjoy pleasure as a human being in this physical realm and if you don’t have a physical body then you enjoy the pleasure in the astral world called heaven.

What is Hell?

Similarly, If your “I” is made of jealousy, revenge, anger, curses, and other similar thoughts then universal consciousness-force you to feel pain – the law of nature; Law of karma.

If you have the physical body you feel these pains and sufferings in this physical body or as a human being.

If you don’t have the physical body then you feel all these pains and sufferings without the body known as hell. It is live examples are ghosts present in the Bhangarh Fort.

Hence, the role of supreme consciousness or God (SOUL) is only to give you conscious energy to face the results of your karmas only nothing else.

Divine energy makes your “I” active to face pain and pleasure whether you are in the body or out of the body.

Read-Soul is Distinct From the Five Koshas

The complete journey of a living being from birth to death is the journey to becoming “I” to the divine.

How to become divine from I? or

What is Moksha or liberation?

The first and foremost requirement to become “I” to the divine is your desire to search God.

If you have a strong craving for God then God sends a true divine guru to you who makes you free from worldly attachments, desires, anger, jealousy, revenge, attachments, and other similar things.

Never try to search a worldly Guru. The need is to be good, to be true, to become a healer, to follow forgiveness, to love all and to love God. Devotion is the key to get success in the spiritual path.

If you love the world you will be tied to the world and will be forced to take birth again and again infinitely.

If you love God you will be tied to God will be liberated from the cage of the body whether that is a physical body or an astral body. That’s it.

Hence there is no soul at all. You are soulless. There is nothing like a soul. The soul is not a separate entity from the GOD.

Only a supreme Soul exists. No individual soul exists. But the God present everywhere and hence, present in you also is referred to as a soul just for understanding.

Otherwise, there is no soul at all. Individual temporary energies exist undoubtedly. These individual energies get consciousness from absolute consciousness.

Or we can say Absolute consciousness makes these individual energies (so many “I” energies in the form of living beings whether human or other creatures) conscious.

Now the true question is:

What happens to the “I energy” after it leaves the body?

Read – is there life after death?

This “I energy” or you enjoy happiness and pleasure after leaving the body in the astral world if the composition of your “I energy” is made up of good karmas, good feelings, and thoughts.

After some days of death this “I energy” go to the deep sleep and become silent. During this time this “I energy” search a father enters into the father via food.

Afterward, it searches mother and enters into the mother, grows, takes birth as a child and start his or her next journey according to the stored subtle repository of his or her karmas.

If your “I energy” is a composition of bad karmas, anger, jealousy and revenge then you (your “I” energy) suffers and feel pain.

The example of such painful energy is ghosts of Bhangarh. This time further can be short to long as according to the strength of your collected thoughts and feelings.

Afterward, when this energy become calm it searches father and enters into the father via food and then enters into mother, takes birth, become a child and start a new journey as according to the stored subtle “I” energy.

There may be a case when this “I energy” not involve in the pains and pleasure but remain busy in his or her duty.

Its example is – Real Ghost Soldier on duty in the Indian Army.

  1. Indeed God exists all over everywhere every breath of life. There is nowhere where God is not. The Presence within each creation is a part and parcel of the Supreme Presence That orchestrates the dance of the whole universe. The Soul wants to be one with the Spirit that embraces the whole creation. After death, it travels in the Infinite unseen Energy with the speed of the Light and joins the Source with its resume of what it has done in the past life and with its aspirations. Then there is reincarnation under the sublime arrangements where the Divine Justice is done to all. This is all transcendental process. The more we are still, the more we are closer to knowing these truths behind the apparent truths on the surface. Different forms but all underlied by one life Energy. Boils down to the fact that there are many sons and daughters, but there is only one Mother-Father God, our Eternal Source. Namaste.
